Spring is in the air in Charleston
Spring is officially here, and the Lowcountry is buzzing with activity! If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a quick rundown of events in the area. The 33rd annual Cooper River Bridge Run takes place this Saturday, March 27th in Mt. Pleasant. This 10K run attracts athletes from all over the world! Don’t worry if you haven’t registered yet because there is still time to be part of this great event. Another local favorite, the 38th Annual Flowertown Festival, takes place in Summerville March 26th through the 28th. Festival attendees will enjoy great artwork and delicious foods from local restaurants. There are fun activities and rides for the children to enjoy as well. Finally, the James Island County Park hosts the 19th annual Lowcountry Cajun Festival on Sunday, March 28th from noon – 6pm. Spice up your day with some great Cajun and Creole food, Zydeco music, and a variety of children’s activities.
