How to Track Housing Prices With Google Maps
As we all know, finding the perfect home is no walk in the park. Finding a "perfect home" in your budget is even more of a challenge! Luckily, Trulia has given us another great tool for tracking home prices via a nifty heat map that zooooms (found via Google Maps Mania).
Track Home Prices Anywhere in United States
Trulia uses Google Maps to give users a quick view of the average listing price in every U.S. state. The tabs at the top of the map allow the user to switch between heat maps of the average listing price, the median sales price and Trulia popularity.
If you click on any of the states you can view the total number of homes for sale in the state and the average listing price.
- Compare prices & popularity by neighborhood, city, county, or state.
- See local market trends for listing and sales prices.
- Find out where the most popular areas for home buyers are.
If you'd like to take a look at the heatmap for South Carolina or national housing prices in the United States, you can see it in action here on Trulia. If you'd like to see what Charleston area has to offer, search for properties in the MLS here on SC Property Pros. Below is a screenshot of the average home prices by zipcode in the Charleston Area.
